HAH! I just had to write it all. What could be more fitting though? This day was a second hand market day! I found so much nice things (photo down looow) and I had a great time with three of my friends. Great weather and a lot of sellers and great company.

LOPPISPREMIÄR! - second hand market premiere!

This weekend it was the first second hand market at Täby Galopp, and me and my friend have been excited for this since the last one last year, so we were super happy that the weather was GREAT and that a lot of people showed up! It was a lovely day ^^

We went back the other day (sunday) because we can't stay away :D

Okej nu har TÄBY GALOPP LOPPIS (i folkmun: Galoppis) satt igång - för sista året (landssorg!). Och jag och vapendragaren var där både lördag och söndag för vi kan inte låta bli och det var asfett såklart. Vädret och massa folk och kanelbullar i skuggan och allt ba aahh :D Galoppispremiär är gött.

Location / Occasion

After sleeping 4 hours or something, me and my friend went to the vintage fair in Stockholm. We always go, but we don't buy much, because it's really fancy stuff that are great to look at, but it's mostly too expensive for us. I found this awesome black and white faux fur (pics further down!), but my hair won't turn the right shade of white that I want right now, and with something white against it, it just looks yellow and greeeen, aaand it was too expensive :P After the fair we went to our beloved Galoppis just to hear cheap prices, and we did ^^ I found a velvet dress with a hood (!!), a pair of shorts and some nailpolish. Great day, but now I'm sooooo tired -_-

Outfit

I found the jacket at the Galoppis for 10kr ($1.5), and actually, the burgundy stockings, the hat, and the bag are also from there! The platforms are Fanny Lyckman, and I love them so much. The are comfortable to wear a whole day just walking, and they make any outfit just perfect :D They are a bit dirty now tho, because I've had so much fun in them the whole summer :DD

Favourite second hands - "Loppisar"!

I thought I'd make a post about my two favourite places to go in Sweden when it comes to second hand shopping. ("Loppis" is short for the Swedish word loppmarknad which translates to flea market, and we call pretty much anything with second hand stuff "loppis" or just "second hand")

First:
Täby Galopp Loppis

 A small part of The Täby Galopp Loppis, what we call "tarmen", like an extra little part
that evolves when there's a lot of sellers.

The unofficial name for this one is "Galoppis" for obvious reasons. I live really close (like 10 min by bike) and it's very close to both the train and bus so it's easy for a lot of people to get there. The Galoppis is every weekend (except like... 3?) the whole summer! And this summer it's been great weather so I've been there like every weekend that I've been home. I've found so many awesome things at this place. I LOVE GALOPPIS!
If you're planning on visiting the stop is called Galoppfältet and the official time for the loppis is between 12-16, but the unofficial is 11-15 ^^

Second:
Megaloppis i Solna

Two times a year there is a big loppis in Solna, called Megaloppis, but we just call it Solnaloppis. It's indoors, and it's two big halls filled with sellers. This is more fancy that the Galoppis, like more professional sellers, but also just ordinary people selling their ordinary stuff. But here you can find more retro/collector stuff, but also cheap quirky thing of course. We always look forward to this loppis sooo much!
